Epic users in the LA area, I have some news for you

So far I've gotten good 4G in Hollywood (Sunset and Vine) and Culver city by Sepulveda.

There's a phantom signal in Burbank, but once it connects it drops. Nothing so far in Studio City or in Santa Monica off Wilshire and 4th (though that's pretty close to the water).

I live really close to Culver and Sepulveda! That's where I'm getting a signal. Haven't been to Hollywood since I moved though.

Rad!
My two best friends live in Culver City and Hollywood, so I trek down there often. They're iphone and droid users, so it was kinda fun to show off after YEARS of being taunted for being on Sprint.

Ahhh... good times...

I love seeing a bunch of people at shopping malls with iPhones knowing that I'm finally unique instead of being one of them. :)

It's a little great watching their confusion over their phone not being "the best" anymore, that different can be pretty good too...

Then I show then high quality Youtube streaming with no buffering LOL.

My Hollywood pal is dropping calls even with a femtocell...

lol. Fanboys have really changed since the beginning of the iPhone. They used to be mild, but now it's like "whoa, shoot! They got better phones! Let's find our advantages and try and make them look bad!" Troll+Fanboy=disaster however.

Truth.
Really sucks because I did actually like the iphone, I just didn't want to switch to AT&T. People were making fun of me for being on Sprint, but I NEVER dropped calls like they did.

Now with WiMAX its just not even a contest...

Agreed, I had the Instinct: Not one problem with network, but pretty bad phone. iPhone: Great phone, terrible service. With the Epic, I finally found the best of both worlds.
