EQ or volume app that I can set to only work on Spotify or media only?

Does anyone know of an equalizer or volume app that I could set to work only on certain apps (like Spotify)? I often want to listen to music at volumes lower than the lowest stock phone volume, but I don't want to affect the rest of the phone (speaker/earpiece volume, alarms, etc.) The stock phone EQ (2013 Moto X) only has presets and is not customizable.

I've already slept through one alarm because I had an EQ app (that I had set low) turned on without realizing it. (Music Volume EQ)
