I've seen a newer Lenovo Tab One. The specs don't look as impressive, butit's cheap (Lenovo is selling them directly for $99 with free shipping). The Galaxy Tab A11 has an 8.7" screen, but it looks like it's not available everywhere at this time -- only parts of Europe and Asia, and maybe Latin America, per Gemini. You can look for a Galaxy Tab A9, which also has an 8.7" screen, but that's a little old (released in 2023).
If price is no object, consider the Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 3, which has an 8.8" screen and is one of the few sub-10" tablets with powerhouse specs: https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/p/tabl...YCtOHUokykFPqFsKJirpFPex0R_jF8KV8vkl8x5m1HD38. The main downside is Lenovo's worse support history compared to Samsung.
The lower end Lenovo tablets will certainly not be that impressive, but they're a reasonably good value. I can tell you that my Lenovo Tab M9 has been much better than the Galaxy Tab A7 lite (which I had for a while but then got rid of because it got incredibly slow and laggy, despite factory resets).I've seen a newer Lenovo Tab One.
