Eris and Metro PCS

I was looking into getting an Eris and using it on Metro PCS. I have been getting conflicting information about what will work with their service. One store says that after flashing, only talk and messaging will work. Another store says that everything including internet, GPS, MMS, and wifi will work. Has anyone had their Eris flashed to Metro, and features work? Thanks for the info.

I am just questioning why somebody want to use MetroPCS? They only have a 1x network (here in SoCal and SoNV)) and their coverage is quite limited.
