The best solution I could find was the following:

Settings -> Applications -> Manage applications and do "Clear cache" or "Clear data" whichever is available for the following apps:
- Calendar
- Calendar Storage
- Gmail
- Gmail Storage

Some people also reported success running the "Setup" program from the app drawer and removing then re-adding their facebook account. Hope this helps.

The culprit is Peep. Deactivate it.

Figures its peep, been trying to delete it since i got the phone, but guess you cannot unless you are root

OK how do I keep it off. I went in under applications and hit force close and now it is back on again
