Error messages in sending texts (SMS)

When I send a text message I keep getting error messages like "sending" this says on indefinitely, or "Not sent.Tap to try again" this in red. I know for a fact that these messages go through so basically theres no problem but this is still annoying....Anybody know whats going on ???
