Essential apps for Android noob?

Are there any apps that allow you to sync with iTunes on your PC?

I know that there is some animosity with Apple in general and iPhones in particular, but I have about 1800 songs on my PC and iTouch in iTunes, and except for about 15, all imported from CDs. I'd hate to have to rip everything again to an mp3 format to play them on a TB.

Download Audiogalaxy. It allows you to stream your entire music library from a home PC / Laptop. You just have to have that PC / Laptop up and running with an Audiogalaxy agent running. The only thing is it won't play DRM songs, but if 99.99% of your songs are imported from CDs, this won't be a problem for you.

So i'm finally going to get the TB today. I want to know what are some good essentials you think I need. This is my first android/smartphone. I've been eyeing the ADW Launcher Pro EX, as I want to customize the UI. Any others you think I need?

Tnx
I think a more important question for a Noob like myself is "what do you consider an essential app?". I know that this depends on how you use your device (its not a phone anymore, its a handheld computer that makes phone calls, which is still essential to me. Anyway, what do I need to manage the phone, browser, launcher?, email client for non-gmail accounts (or just go through the browser?). I'm not into social networking or game playing. I don't know what I'm missing, so I don't know how to ask the question.

Double twist syncs to your itunes account.

I'm still a noob as well, but can't imagine not having "Tasker". Tasker is NOT a task killer app so don't think that.

Tasker automatically does things on your phone based on just about anything. So far I have "profiles" set up to do the following.

1. Automatically start XM Online and turn up media volume when my bluetooth headphones or Jabra cruiser are connected via bluetooth (and turn off/down when disconnected).

2. Automatically turn up screen brightness to max when connected to the car dock, and back down when disconnected.

3. Automatically turn on wifi when I'm home (via cell towers near my home so its very low power).

I'm still working on a few more. Would like to get something similar for work, but its hard since the work wifi network is a bit finicky. I'm also going to setup a profile to automatically read txt message aloud when I'm in car dock or connected to my Jabra in the car.

In my opinion, Tasker makes my smartphone... truly "smart".
