As long as you don't open it they will send you a prepaid return package and you can send it back to them for a full credit. if it's been opened they charge a $35 restocking fee. Don't refuse it though. I said the same thing and they told me it could get lost because the return address is the corp headquarters in Palo Alto and the return address on the label for me was in Smyrna, TN. So just sign for it and ask for an RMA and get the return package if you are returning it.

Email support and ask for a tracking number. Chances are it's already shipped.

With Amazon you have to look at who is selling. I assume what you are seeing is 3rd party seller prices. If it does not say ships and sold by Amazon then it's a 3rd party seller and they can set their prices to whatever they want.

Yeah I know the difference. It was through Amazon at $660. Just looked and it's back down to $449 for the white one and immediate delivery if anyone is interested. Maybe they just made a mistake. I should have waited a day. Now if I want to return, I'll have to pay a restocking fee to BB.

I bought white via Amazon last week, and got 10% off due to one day late in shipping, so $449. Also, they will split payments into 5 months, which what attractive.
So far I'm liking the phone. Still getting use to the "small" big screen vs. my Nexus 6P. It's much faster (of course).
I would love to have a "perfect" camera (i.e. iPhone X or Pixel 2), but certainly not at twice the price! Seems as good as my 6P was.

How did you get that monthly payment option? I can only see it on the Amazon echo stuff products but nothing on the Essential.

The Camera has been vastly improved but I wouldn't put it on par with the original Pixel (which is what I basically moved over from) but it's not a bad camera at all. The good news is everything that is "Bad" about the Camera can be improved with Software updates and Essential has been on top of it when it comes to pushing out updates. It should get way better.

I ended up getting one and will hold on to it in case I change my mind. I think I have up to 14 days to return it. Not to mention in a week all the Black Friday specials should be out and I'll see if there's something more interesting

I bought 2 kindle last year with monthly payments options but im not getting it on this phone. Ill order it in the heart beat if i have that option.

I'm in the same boat. I can live with unpolished software because I know they will sort it out. The camera on the other hand I'm not so sure it will get better.

I've been using the Google camera apk and it's great. Especially for a sub $500 phone. I'll post some pics later
