Essential for $450 at Best Buy...

Do you think it will go lower than $450 on Black Friday? A 128GB Pixel 2 is $750, which I refuse to spend, especially since the camera is not important to me.

If you're a Sprint customer, you may want to check their website tomorrow. ;)

Edit: lease pricing $25 down, $5/month. 18 month lease, but if you choose to buy it out of the lease it's just 6 additional payments. So the total cost to own would be $145.

I received an email movers 10% coupon from bestbuy. I am debating if I should use it on this phone. I originally said I would only consider it at around $250 to $300 range but the coupon would bring it down to $400. I have a LG g6 I was going to move to from my note 4 but I am kind of thinking of maybe selling it and jumping to the essentials. No wireless charging would suck though as I use it daily at work.

Since I'm not a Sprint customer, I picked one up today for $399 (if you add a Cricket Wireless SIM Activation Kit and $40 refill card, the phone drops to $399, but the card/sim only cost $42, not to mention you can re-sell on ebay). Links for this are on slickdeals.

You may want to re-read that. Their website says you still have to pay the difference between the amount you've paid during the lease and full retail to own the phone at the end of the lease.

I just bought one from Best Buy for $450. They also had the 360 camera for $50 if you purchased them together. I think on the Essential site it was $499 and $179 for the 360.

I assumed this would be the case at first, but verified with several reps that the "lease buyout" fee after the 18 month lease would be $30. The lease pricing is not via a monthly service credit, so it shouldn't be an issue to cancel the lease early.
