Same. They only make one phone. Sprint might lock theirs if under subsidy but the hardware is the same.

IMO, Essential better step up their game. Sprint is running commercials for this phone a lot lately.

It's the same but the good news is that the updates come directly from essential and by pass sprint. I had every update download that has been released and I am currently on the September security patch.

Another great plus is the only sprint app is the my sprint, which I would have downloaded anyway. There is no bloatware at all, which is so so nice.

It is locked to sprint if you buy it under an installment plan or flex lease as they call it.
