Essential Phone Will Not Power On - What Next?

My Essential phone will not power on. Battery was 100% charged and I pressed the power button. I pressed "Restart" and the screen went blank and I assume the phone powered off. The phone will not power on. I plug in the charger and there is no charge light. I had been running the OTA 8.1 beta for several days and there was unusual battery drain. I sent feedback to Essential regarding this along with screen shots.

I have left messages for Essential support. I guess I will have to wait until they respond. I really like this phone, but the past few days have been very frustrating.

I had tried that earlier, but I guess I didn't hold it down long enough. The longer time did the trick. In the past, the response was much quicker. Thanks for all your help.

So glad that worked for you! One time, Bluetooth froze my phone and it locked up. Pressing and holding the power button for at least fifteen seconds was the only thing that turned my phone back on. It usually does the trick! SactoKingsFan was very smart to suggest it!

I've been in the situation where it's been almost a minute to get it to respond... Don't ask.
Anyway, I have flashed over and over without a real issue.
I did notice that something though. My Mac will crash when flashing any of the 8.X betas if I don't unplug the phone before each system flash.

I guess it has something to do with the USB driver.
It doesn't happen when flashing 7.x
