Hi,
We have a large number of HP tablets on site that are all connected to LAN via Ethernet adapter. The devices are running v4.4.2 and the adapters are a mix of generic micro usb ones that were all tested without issue. However, we are experiencing a lot of random network disconnects and the adapters seem to go into an idle state, as when you attend an 'offline' device, the network is present, you just hsve to 'do something' (like go into android settings) for the adapter to wake up and reconnect.
The devices are not rooted, and can't be, and this HP device does support Ethernet via usb.
Does anyone know / can anyone pinpoint what the fault is? It's completely random at the moment, and we're baffled!
Thanks in advance for any help.
Joel.
