If anyone is in the DC area, I'd be really appreciative if you could give my friend's new app (that I also helped a bit with) a try. Currently it only pulls in events from the DC area (via Eventful), but eventually will be national or global.
I think it's really promising as a way to both check out local events, check into them (even future events), and create your own for your friends. It's still pretty basic, but I think you'll agree that it looks pretty good and has a lot of promise. We want to try to spread the word and build interest in it, so anything you can do towards that would be great, but just downloading it and giving us some feedback (either here or on the Android Market) would be great. Be honest, but please be forgiving since it IS an Alpha version! Thanks!
