I've been searching online too; all I've read that happened is that Verizon's model was available for hands-on at the event.

Phil just tweeted something about not seeing someone from Jersey Shore at the Samsung event. So yea. Dont know what he's talking about but it seems like he's there.

I was looking too. The only thing I could find was an AP article in a couple of papers where it starts with that and then goes into a list of holiday gadgets. Richard said this morning "they" were in NYC getting ready for the event. It must not have been too big of a deal since the carriers are already announcing.

It just seems to me like this is a really strange launch. Sprint sends a press release saying it will be available tomorrow and then just shuts up. The day before the launch and its pretty silent even around AC. Just makes me wonder what the deal is.
