Every time I hit my home button, Google search will pop up. How do I stop it?

When I close an app or browser and use my home key the Google search comes up for Google speak. I have disabled my Google speak but it still has like the search bar popping up. How can I disable that or stop it?

Same thing is happening to me on my galaxy S5 I use buzz launcher but I don't know if that is causing it.

Ya same issue but I have att it did a software update now I hit my home button and Google pops it's annoying as hell....

Yes, this is happening to me too and it is so frustrating. I have looked and looked for solutions, but can't find anything. I have AT&T too and this started right after an update.

Find the Google with the blue box and remove from your apps. Once that was removed never happened again.

The only way to stop it is in fact to disable the Google App. Sometimes you'll have to hit the home screen several times while it vibrates and does nothing, but it's better than having Google Search pop up every damn time.

so after I install the update a few days ago every time I press my home button I would go to Google search drove me nuts finally went into my Applications Manager and uninstalled the update on my Google settings now my home button actually takes me home.. hope this helps

I undid the update on Google plus, but couldn't find plain google in my applications. It seemed to work for about 15 minutes, but now has reverted.What am I not seeing??

Having the exact same problem. I uninstalled the google app updates and that worked for about 5 minutes. Now it's back doing it again. Really frustrating.

I deleted the blue google app completely... it seems to work for now, but we shall see if it works for good....
One thing about android is that it has to cater to so many different phones.

I did the thing where u go under application manager and reverted to its factory settings... it still popped up, but.. when I had gone into default applications/Home/ I had something called Google now launcher downloaded to it... I just deleted that setting and it was fine after that... no Google search popup... maybe it's me but it's worth a try to look at. I'll update my post if the problem still occurs, I'll be sure to check back with u guys

I went to apps manager/Google/deleted Google updates/reverted back to factory settings. This appears to have solved the problem. It was really driving me nuts. I would hit the home button constantly and it would just bring up Google search over and over again. I actually almost threw my phone out of frustration.

I had the same thing going on after the update. I Uninstaller the Google app and it quit, but it sucked that it had to take out Google now.
