Every time I try to get Android help, the settings in the instructions are not on my phone. Why?

For example, I was following instructions to fix my wifi and it said go to settings "internet and settings" but that is not on my phone. Happens every time.

For the same exact wording, you need to look for help for the same phone you have as different devices (or at least manufacturers) may have slightly different wording. Sometimes it takes a little interpretation of what is presented to get to where you need to be. Keep in mind, if you're not looking at information for your exact device the setting you're looking for may not actually be there.

It's because most manufacturers skin and modify android for their liking, so you need directions for a specific model. Even than, software updates can change things since the instructions were written.

Same thing happens with Windows, and most any operating system I've used.
