Everyone still getting a Droid X?

Hell yes I'm still getting one. I will use my annual to get it too. Then in December I will allow my wife to use her uprgrade to get whatever she wants. Also in December I will use the upgrade to a 3rd line if there is something that I fancy. Oh, and then there's my NE2 that is due on 3/14/2011. I think I'm covered.

There are only two types of smartphones in the world - those that will be out of date within six months and those that already are out of date. I figure even outside Boston (LTE test market) I'm a good year away from a decent selection of Droids so the X timing is perfect.

I've almost always got access to Wifi, so I'm sticking with the X, and besides, Hoedinknowhere Kansas isn't getting 4G anytime soon.

A rep at the verizon store said they were told to expect the 1st LTE phone on black Friday...I know..not reliable at all, but what he said made sense with some other rumors. He also said the data will not be unlimited on 4g which also makes sense with AT+T's recent switch with the rumor that vzw is soon to follow...I would prly keep the x for a while to keep unlimited data.

Yea I feel like by the time I can be on LTE reliably I'll already be due at least another annual upgrade.
