If you look above you'll see that I posted a solution to your exact problem for the icon size. I too didn't like the big icons. But you can fix that.

Where would i find those launcher settings for google now launcher? Looked everywhere and didnt found anything ur suggesting here now...

You are using the Kit Kat launcher, correct? Here are some photos to help explain.

The first one shows the launcher that I am referring to. This is the best Kit Kat launcher I have found.

Click on the icon shown in the second picture and it'll show a menu.
Choose "Theme and Feel" and under that click "icon scale". You'll then be able to choose the size of your icons.

I know that. I was referring to the original google now launcher... There u only can adjust the icons if ur phone is rooted and the build.pro file is modified.

Ah, so my explanation did nothing!? Oh well. I mean, that kit kat launcher is pretty nice. Even puts the Google Now feature when you slide to the left.

Thats true. But on my moto g in combination with the kk launcher... It gets too laggy and slow. So im using nova instead. And that works like a charm

As it started getting that way on my Moto X, I actually made the switch to Nova as well. Have had it on for about a week now and loving it.
