News Everything iOS 18 'stole' from Android

Do we need a list? Doesnt the word "Everything" just about cover it?

Our features are either dumb, pointless, niche or bloat until Apple invents them 4 years later and news outlets have a media-boner over the groundbreaking new features.

Honestly, the comparisons to Android... not just by you, but by a lot of coverage... just annoy me. Now that I have a Google Pixel, I am starting to like Android (Have tried it so many times in the past and hated it)... and I feel like it's silly to compare them. Sure, Android might have some features first, but Apple does things their own way... and that's okay. People that want features Android has but Apple doesn't can vote with their wallet.

Is this how Windows users feel when we Linux users are talking?

Honestly, the media are pretty dumb regardless. I'd ignore them.

This one was pretty funny to me, as Apple is bringing "Tap to Cash" to the iPhone. What makes this funny is that you'll no longer be able to do this on your Android phone via GPay. The "GPay" app has been deprecated in the U.S. in favor of the Google Wallet app, which does not offer peer-to-peer transactions.

I noticed this and thought it was rather silly to shut down the GPay (Killed by Google addition, I guess) system... TBF I didn't even know the system existed until about two weeks ago, but I think GPay was a great idea, especially with cash on the way out.

That last paragraph isn't from me but is quoted under comments listed out by me.

Both Android and Apple steal features from each other.
Yeah but Android manufacturers steals the dumb features like no headphone jack. No removable battery. The Notch.

In all seriousness, yes they do but fanboism isn't discouraged and the internet feeds on it. Figured I'd be that person for once. Android and iOS are Apples to Oranges, cater to two different demographics.

😃 Yeah good points, I have used both Android and iPhones from beginning of their creation even at this point just like them both for different reasons , although I favor Android more without a doubt but I'll always have my iphones lol

Serious question, does any android phone have the AI writing assistance built in natively or you would have to download an app to have that feature?
