Yes. We sold through our preorder allotment.

Hmm... I already have 4 micro USB cords (I had a Pre), already have a headset, but I do need some earphones. Last time I went I saw something called Skull Candy but I didn't like that kind've earphone how it goes inside your ear. Like this:

There are tons of headphones available. The first picture you posted reminds me of the V-Moda headphones that The Shack carries for about $50. I have them and I am very happy with their sound quality, but they lack bass, if that's important to you.

The other kinds are just regular old headsets. The V-Moda one has a microphone so that's a plus. There are also the Auvio headphones that are excellent quality and sound, especially the armature ones. But again, they lack bass. I would recommend, if you don't like the in-the-ear headphones, that you go looks elsewhere.... RadioShack doesn't have a good, quality selection of the kind that you like, such as the iPod headset kind.

But I really recommend the ones that RadioShack carries that are in-the-ear. Very good quality.

I have the VModa Vibe II ($119) and to tell you the truth, I would just spend $20-30....though I would make sure you get a mic with it and a button to change songs.

I think I will spend my $20 accessory credit on a car charger. My iPhone is always dying and it comes in handy

Well, seeing that both my local RS stores had a grand total of 3 pre-orders between the two of them, and me being the FedEx delivery driver that actually delivers the Evo's to them, I should be able to score one without a pre-order.... I really hope they send extras!

I'm also in Madison, WI and ordered from the east side location. They said they were opening at 10, unfortunately. I haven't received a call either.

However, you can use it for a car charger, another home charger, a universal case, towards a bluetooth headset, a pair of earphones, etc. RadioShack has lots of stuff. Im sure you can find a good use for a free $20.

just buy any accessory and hold on to the receipt and exchange it later if you can't find anything at the moment

and man!! I knew I shouldn't have ordered at the mall!! now i'll have to wait till 10 for sure

You will be called soon. It depends on how organized the store is. If the store is organized by order of order, then they will call you based on when you pre-ordered. However, I don't think you will need to worry about timing issues, you should get yours in the early morning, if your store will open at 6am.

You will receive a call that will give you a time, most likely will be close to 10am.

Good question. By RadioShack rules, you should be able to exchange anything for anything else within 90 days of purchase. So, technically, yes. Although I am not 100% sure of the accessory credit.

But for now, I will say yes. I see no reason why not. After all, The Shack is very lenient with the exchange policies. I wouldn't worry, I THINK you will be able to do that just fine.

It also seems like a massive fail on the part of HTC to not have these accessories ready for launch. I really want the car dock and some sort of pouch to carry the phone in the pocket.

However, I might want to get the Jawbone Icon - what exactly can be combined together? There is the $20 credit, the 15% off, and I have the $10 coupon off $40 for filling out a survey.

Well, 30 days for exchange, 90 days only applies if its defective for repair or replacement at the stores decision.

Credit is to be used there, and it requires 20$ minimum purchase amount for it to be valid.

Now that wont stop you from exchanging said item within 30 days (all original packaging, re-sellable condition) for an official HTC product. (Its what I'll be doing)

I read somewhere that Radio Shack will be getting approx. twice as many phones to sell to the general public as they were able to take pre-orders. How accurate is this? Or will they even be getting any extras at all?

As known, some RadioShacks will open at 6am for the pre-order customers ONLY. This 6am opening is NOT for regular customers, but for customers who want their pre-ordered Evo's. Although the stores will be open to the general public, the real attention is to those that pre-ordered their devices. Pretty sweet.

Just talk to the manager and see if he'll let you come in at 9 a.m. like I did. Told him I wanted it before going to work and he was somewhat accommodating.

Radioshack does not even price match by a penny. And by no means Amazon.. thats just asking to go red.

Legally we cannot lock the doors during normal business hours, so there goes the idea of only letting in certain customers.

If we open at 6.. (Most likely 7-730 at my store, 6 is just too early for my area even if we did 10+ pre orders) we have to leave the doors unlocked. Now do we have to sell non-pre ordered phones at that time? Not necessarily.

We promised pre ordered customers dedicated time and frankly they'll get it. As they stopped in earlier in the month and paid us money to get such service. At my store non-pre orders will wait till our pre order folks are completed. (They're the reason we're even open early in the first place.)
