For sure, It's much faster, smoother and the suggsted words now appear like they do on swiftkey, gingerbread keyboard, htc sense keyboard, at the top rather than a popup with likely words. It's much faster to type with it overall. I can't see anything beating it right now.

Mine is working great since the OTA except for the following:
1) my phone app is missing from the drawer and the applications list. It works from the launcher (so I can use my phone as a phone *gasp*), but is not available as an icon for my lockscreen (it was working fine prior to the update).
2) I wasn't having issues with the generic android app icons until AFTER I installed the update. It was annoying, but after I replaced all my homescreen icons it appears to work just fine even after restart.

Has anyone checked to see if this fixed the green camera photos?
That has been my biggest gripe with the phone so far.
The generic icon on reboot was also but it looks like they fixed it in this update.

GPS lock is instantaneous now... That's great.
I hated staying at a stop sign before driving off in the wrong direction because i had to wait for my Evo 3D to tell me where to go....
It used to take forever........

HTC said they would have to do an update before opening the 3D to their web based bootloader unlock. Hopefully, this lays the groundwork for that. Anyone notice if any of the green camera issues or camera lock up issues got resolved? The camera function itself seems to launch faster.
Anyone find a list of which pre-installed cr-aps can now be deleted?
Wow, Green Hornet, Blockbuster, QIK, 3D Games, Spiderman... Lots of the cr-aps can be uninstalled. Whether they're actually gone or not, at least they aren't going to be starting up sucking up memory anymore.

My camera had white-balance issues that seem to be fixed now.
I used to see a light green tint to my photos, I now do not!
So hopefully that isnt just here at my work office...

The volume seems to be louder for the ear piece and speakerphone. I did notice that when I open from lock screen...I get a sound like a vacuum cleaner. Does anyone else get that??

I'm installing the update now (Los Angeles). I hope the speakerphone is louder and the green camera pics issues are solved. Other than that the EVO 3D has been performing above my expectations and very little to complain about.
Don't know if the update rollout is region based, but it did take a couple of manual checks on the setting page to get the update to show up and download. No restart/battery pull required.

Update installed, "HTC Sense" force closed but quickly rebooted itself and appears to be working fine.
Observations thus far:
Maybe it's just me but some of the app icons appear to be higher resolution. I noticed that some looked fuzzy before, but now icons like messages, mail, internet, etc. appear to be a little crisper after the update. Market apps installed are unchanged, just preinstalled stuff (that is, if I'm not going crazy).
Still some app icons showing as generic market app icons, but some have been fixed. Maybe another restart will solve this?
Gallery app now smartly displays the most recent pics first (starts at the bottom of the list of thumbnails). Before, it would always start at the top, displaying your oldest pics first. Nice. UPDATE: Except if you open up from lock screen, it defaults to the top (old pics).

I noticed an HTC Scribble process that is on the 3D now. I didn't remember seeing that before and thought it was only for the Flyer and other HTC tablets with the pen. Anyone know what purpose this would serve on the EVO 3D? I don't think there's any way to get the HTC stylus to work with the 3D...

After the update, I was able to remove; 3D games, Blockbuster,qik, and Spiderman, I checked my camera and I think the green picture issue has gotten better but this issue may be related to the type of lighting in in the room. I regards to the speaker volume, I checked using some music and don't really hear a difference, however, I haven't used it for a phone call yet. I'm happy with the phone so maybe these issues aren't very noticeable to me.
