It supports 4G. Sprint probably just didn't want to put it in the name because HTC EVO 3D 4G sounds ridiculous

Does the evo 3d have a gorilla glass screen? Or just a normal glass? I know the hp pre 3 has a gorilla glass screen so maybe this is its only trump card against the evo 3d

not hatin on the pre 3 but my current palm pre gets a lot of crap from my friends on its "great" build quality


.....and as a side note i hope that 2D/3D switch gets turned into a ringer switch when not using the camera... That would be sweeeeet

I don't particularly care about 3D on a mobile device, very gimmicky. The rest of the specs and enhancements have me interested, but will hold judgement until I get my mits on one.

I had a iPhone guy, last week, ask me if I heard when the 5G service was getting turned on because he heard that the Apple iphone 5G was coming out soon!!! I just laughed and said "Not till they come out with a 4G phone first"

Well Verizon has better phones in the pipeline, I really don't know what they were thinking when they commissioned the Tbolt, that thing is way behind the times not just compared to the Evo, but compared to many of the other phones VZ has in the pipeline, and it's expensive too, so it's not like it was meant to be a middle class phone like how AT&T treats the Inspire.

Everybody has better phones in the works, even Sprint. The problem is the devlopment time for each handset, probably at least six months if not longer.

The Tbolt is Verizon's HTC Evo. Slightly souped up, obviously with LTE capability, but not radically different. Now the EVO 3D is going to kick off the next technology cycle, with ATT/TMO and VZW eventually getting some enhanced iteration.

I'm trying to imagine when I would used the 3D features of the phone. I'm not really into 3D movies. I like to have the latest technology, but I think it will be a while before I can really make use of 3D. I'm still waiting for a 3D glassesless tv. That will be the first 3D toy I get. Maybe next year I will get a 3D phone. It's kind of like video chat for me. I'm starting to use it now, but it has been out for a while. Takes some time for everyone to get on board and for the technology to be supported.

not yet, but I'm betting its coming out the same day the OG Evo came out but I'm hopefully wrong and it comes out earlier, but for me my upgrade date is August 1st so I gotta wait anyways.
