Evo 4 g burning up , eating batteries

Need some help!! I have an Evo 4g and I'm on my second extended life battery! I shipped the other one back because I thought it was bad due to my phone just going though the life of it. So I got another one and it is doing the same thing and it is hot also!! My wife has same set up on her Evo and same apps. And she gets two days out of her battery with heavy use. I did all the tricks to try and cut down on battery etc and still eating through it. Wth!!!!

It might be your phone.. it sounds like your phone is damaged internally

Or it could be the extended battery. Wrong mAh values, wrong voltage, incorrect grounding, etc. Think about it.

To the OP: Where did you buy the extended battery? What brand is it?

Well, my phone is, as you will see in my signature, an HTC Vivid WCX (The WCX is the WildChild Mod). But, to answer your question, I bought my extended battery WITH a back for only $13. And this was a good type! My aunt purchased an EVO 4G battery off of Amazon for $5 and the battery rattles around in the case!
