Evo 4g backups to evo 3d all outdated?

No idea what's happening here. I'm trying to migrate what data I can over from my 4G to my new 3D. Specifically the Color Notes and Mileage apps. They both have back-up functions that let you save back-ups and import them. So tonight I'm saving back-ups of all of my notes and of my car mileage history. I copy the newly made backups (yeah I'm sure they are the correct ones) to the evo 3d's sd card and import them. Both apps import the data, but it's all out dated by like 3 weeks. It's not just missing new entries, but it's showing the lists and such as they were as of June 2nd. All changes after June 2nd and any new entries/lists are missing. It's the weirdest damn thing. Anybody else with the issue and/or know what's going on? I really need the mileage entries to copy specifically, although redoing all of the checklists manually would also be a pain in the ass. I just want to get everything switched over quickly because I'm trading in the evo 4g to Sprint.

Send the app developers an email about the problem. That's the best way to get it fixed.

Is it the apps or the evo 4g though? By the time they would do anything I'll have to of sold it anyway.
