evo 4g insurance claim

I got this when I tried

Your Replacement Device

Manufacturer: HTC
Model: EVOWHT

Guess I'll try again on Monday.

I broke the screen on my EVO 4G and filed a claim online and they sent me an EVO 3D the very next day! I love the 3D it's a whole lot better than the EVO 4G.

This may seem like a dumb question but I have never dealt with Asurion before. Do I need to send my old phone back? And if they dont require it back do they deactivate it somehow or could I fix it and use it as a backup? Thanks

You have to send it back or they'll charge you for it.

When u get your new/replacement phone they send a prepaid envelope to send the broken phone back. If you don't send it back within 10 business days you het fined $500.

You have to fill out the claim form & it'll tell you what phone they're going to send out right before they ask for your credit card number. So if it's not what you want you can back out of it.

I went to do a claim and it doesn't tell me what phone I will be getting. It went straight to ask for a CC number.

I'm doing my claim and it tells me that it's sending a HTC EVO. It doesn't say which EVO I'll be getting though....

Hey all, I'm not trying to get an EVO 3D for cheap, even though I wouldn't complain. But my EVO 4G all of a sudden will not read my memory card. I'm afraid I've lost all my apps, pictures, and music that was on it. The charging port is also acting up; the original HTC cord that came with it, as well at a sprint cord I bought to replace it, neither fit, or seed into the charging port like it should. Causing it to not charge unless I physically hold the cord into the phone. My Cradle still charges the phone, but only because gravity is holding it down onto the prong. My question I guess is should I just take it into the Sprint repair shop and have them try to fix it and if not, just file an insurance claim? I have the TEP plan as well.

I would do it,, you have legitimate issues so why not. I would bet they will send you a 3d

EVO - LUTION 3D

Do it as file a claim, or just take it into the repair shop?

It also was in my pocket and got banged against a door and the plastic on the bottom of the phone broke off and some of the plastic is bent over to where I can't use the HDMI port. Because of all that as well the back cover doesn't snap on the bottom, and causes the battery to come loose from time to time and reset the phone.

Haha, thank god for TEP, I must be to rough on my phones.

Take it to a repair shop - they can either fix it or tell you to file a claim, and they won't charge you to take a look at it to see what the problem is. That's a surefire way to make sure you have a legit problem.

That's how I got mine.

Yeah I took my phone to the repair shop, and as soon as I took it out of my pocket they told me I have to file an insurance claim, haha I guess its that banged up. That kinda sucks I would prefer to just get all my issues fixed, I don't really have the $100 to pay the deductible. But its not looking like I have much of a choice.

Just checked today and its EVO. I talked to a lady at sprint today and she said their policy is if you get three replacements and need another they have to give you a comparable model

How do you cancel the claim? whenever I try a new claim it just says I already have another one and picks up where I left off
