No point in getting all flustered folks. There is no reason this couldn't be resolved very quickly and still be out by the 18th. Sprint nor HTC has made any statement on the issue, so I feel confident in being able to hold my new EVO on friday

The US availability of the HTC One X and HTC EVO 4G LTE has been delayed due to a standard U.S. Customs review of shipments that is required after an ITC exclusion order. We believe we are in compliance with the ruling and HTC is working closely with Customs to secure approval. The HTC One X and HTC Evo 4G LTE have been received enthusiastically by customers and we appreciate their patience as we work to get these products into their hands as soon as possible.

HTC's statement:

Yes.
My statement still stands.
HTC or Sprint have yet to give out an official statement.
Don't trust everything the verge has said, it has been off a bit.
But if my positivity and enthusiasm is all for not, I won't bother admitting to being wrong. Just trying to keep a level head about this.
Understood. But the verge is reputable, I doubt they would totally falsify an HTC statement. They infer that they got the statement directly from HTC and have also reached out for statements from Sprint and AT&T.
I don't believe it. I am willing to bet I have my phone by Monday. I ordered from Wirefly.
Keep the scandal going. It is very entertaining.

You ordered from Wirefly? Yeah, you'll get your phone on Monday... Monday, June 4th.
The 11th is more like it for people that bought from wirefly, what a joke.
Eh wasn't Wirefly's delay 2-3 weeks? I gave him the benefit of the doubt and esitmated about two weeks from the 18th.
I hope no one is taking that S4gru guy seriously. He is nothing more than a hack who likes to stir things up. Countless people have been told by Sprint reps that the orders will start shipping tomorrow. I hope Sprint sends that guy a cease and desist letter.
