Evo 4g wont load.

My buddy rooted my HTC Evo 4G. It was working fine up until earlier today. I figured it I just needed to clear the cache to make it run better since I had ben using the internet on it a lot.
I tried to flash from the zip file PC36IMG.zip and it said "E:Can't find update script" Should I just have it wiped and then re-rooted?

Any advice and/or help would be wonderful!

No need to re-root. Flash a more stable Tom like decks gingerbread or a rooted version of the stock rom. Do a full wipe before flashing.

So I decide to do a factory reset on it and its missing the android driver. Do you know how I can find it and fix it?

I'm not sure if you're referring to the Android driver for your PC or what? Please elaborate!
