Swype is a great tool. I'm def going to install on my Evo. That'll be my second device on my account.
Swype is one app I never liked. I tried it on my old Moto Droid and gave it a chance, but yeah - no go. I found normal texting much more enjoyable.
Whew, I thought I was the only one out there. I am almost afraid to mention this for fear of "the Swype faithful" coming to my house and butchering my loved ones. Well, my cats... more so than *her*.
So is there anyway for non beta account holders to get Swype?
I still have no idea how to use it. Is it accurate? I watched the video and it seems that the software is predicting the word that you want to type.
So i got the Swype beta from here. It's dated Dec.30 09....Is that the latest build?
Yea pretty much. I was using my friends HD2 the other day to test it out. Just saying random sentences. It's definately something i'd have to get used to. One thing i noticed was when i swyped, "What's up Danny", it didn't recognize the name to make the D capital. Small nuscense which im sure could be corrected or maybe i missed something? *shrug*
I just signup for the beta but it?s closed. I'll trying this one?

I found and downloaded the file 'Droid.Swype.Beta.5612.apk'
Is this the latest file and what I need to put on an SD card and install with an app manager?
