EVO Apps worth paying for ?

thier has never been a paid app that i could not have found for free if i look hard enough.

Not cool dude. Do you like to work for free?? It's not easy developing applications. It takes a long time and some serious knowledge to do it. Even with simple applications. You wouldn't have the balls to tell a developer in his/her face "hey I stole your app.". If you can afford a $200 phone I'm sure you can afford a 99 cent app...

Amen!

Launcher Pro Plus
WidgetLocker
Astro File Manager
Homerun Battle 3D
Kick Flick Field Goal
Docs To Go
Raging Thunder 2
Carrom3d
All well worth the money!

Without a doubt worth the money: Doggcatcher (my #1 used app), PhoneMyPC, Tapatalk Pro, Radiotime, Vignette, Weatherbug Elite, Launcher Pro, Root Explorer, SwitchPro... and I'm considering paying for Slacker if Last.fm doesn't fix it's app.

I like supporting developers than offer something that fits my needs better than the free products. Here's what I have bought so far:

I need dual Exchange support, so I bought Touchdown. In some ways I like it better than the native HTC mail app. I have PhoneWeaver (love SBSH's products and I am beta'ing their next Android product right now which I would buy if I had too!), Wyse Pocketcloud for RDP server access (multiple servers), Battery Indicator Pro, PdaNet (needed https support) and Smartkeyboard Pro.

And on those I use a lot, I hate ad supported apps.

I think to be honest the only app that you really need are back up apps and maybe an antivirus app like lookout. The rest are more want than need. But my worth it apps are:

Launcher Pro Plus
Titanium Back up
Shoot me (incase you need to post pics of an issue) - free
Lookout - free
Smartbar - free
App Categories - free
Audio Manager - free
Asphalt 5
Barcode Scanner - free
Astro - free
LED Desire light - free
Pandora - free
vlingo - free
podkast - free (for listening to thursdays podcast if you missed it!)

Sorry I know the OP wanted paid apps but just wanted to list all that I thought was worth installing..free or not.

Thank you aznmode et al...spectacular info...I've been hitting as many of these suggestion as time allows through the appstore. Much appreciated!

No problem. Hit the thank button so I can have 5 counts..haha. Oh and one more I wanted to add.

Dolphin HD browser - free (tabbed browsing and swipe right to show bookmarks)

This is by far the best browser I've come across.

I forgot my favorite of the whole bunch... Smart Keyboard Pro, by far the best multitouch keyboard available on Android. Love it!

If we're listing free apps, someone's gotta mention Handcent SMS. Or Chomp... which is almost as good but some people prefer. Also IMDB, and Flixster Movies. DirecTV's app for setting my DVRs remotely. Bloo 1.5 to replace Facebook. And the best Twitter app, Tweetcaster. AppBrain and Awesome Drop. Evernote or 3banana. CarrMatey, which is a fun way to find your car at Disneyworld (and saved my butt more than once).

And the best free app out there... RockPlayer, which plays any video file I throw at it (particulary good for watching TV torrent downloads).

Mine are:

Beautiful widgets
SetCPU
Rom manager premium
Root explorer
Minisquadron
Baseball superstars 10'

Here are my paid apps:

-Electrum Drum II (a sweet little drum machine that lets you record samples)
-Gameloft's Dungeon Hunter (which works great after the fps fix)
-Gameboid (a gameboy advance emulator)

And I'm going to buy the full version of Angry Birds soon.

Paid Apps:
