Evo browser and zooming in

Is the Evo browser the same one as on the Nexus One? In the video reviews I've seen, when zooming in on web pages it automatically sets up text in a nice column so that you don't have to pan back and forth. But while fooling around on a friend's N1 it didn't seem to do that.
 
well.....then it's not the same as the Nexus one. I think you answered your own question.
 
Hardly. I was wondering if it is a setting. Or if maybe the reviews were not using the stock browser. Or if there are different builds available.
 
The browser on the Evo does indeed reflow the text into readable columns when you zoom in.

my nexus one does that. it certainly auto fits the text into a new columnn when zooming in. and the evo should be exactly the same:D
 
Yes, pinch to zoom + text adjusting is on the HTC Evo.
That was the only thing I would have asked from the Pre browser... really needed the text reflow cause that was the most annoying thing scrolling from left to right.
