evo cant connect to voice mail

So I recently rooted my evolution by using the simple root. Untilled then I have not been able to check my voice mail. I am currently running cm6 6.0.0 the latest stable one. When ever I hit 1 to call my voice mail it tells me that my Helios account has expired. Can any one please help.

Try going into visual voice mail, hit menu, compose. Send the message to activate@vvm.sprint.com, press record, then stop, then click send

First he has to hunt down the VVM .apk though. CM6 doesn't come with it.

Still workin' on this PRI. I literally think it's just a roll of the dice and which activation server you hit.

Silly stuff... Thing is... Once I hit 1.4 I doubt I will notice a dam#ed difference in data speeds.

lol sorry for the late reply.......... was stuck at work for some time no time to reply.
so an update thank you all for your help.......to be honest i gave up and reverted back to a stock rom with root.
i notice my voice mail works perfectly without any problem.

since root the only rom that i have ran was the cm6. i don't know if its the rom or just my luck but something goes wrong. one of the thing that went wrong and important to me was that i was unable to roam.....did a search found an answer flash a stock rom with root call sprint they fix it nandroid backup my stock re download cm6 6.0.0 and ran it for 3 days. same problem occur on the last day. don't know if any one is having this problem. at first i thought it was due to my pri 1.3.... i tried to update it but cant, so i guess stock rom for me now (1 week with stock and no problem)
