Getting There

I'm getting to the point where I am addicted//crazy over the EVO, but not there just yet, I have begun to check these forums more often, and decided to finally register since I am getting even more exited about it. I'm coming from an 8330m from Sprint and have been eligeble for an upgrade since two months ago, I holded up my upgrade for the Blackberry Bold 9650, but after the announcement and the specs for it were finally comfirmed, I was very dissapointed with it, and I knew about the EVO and decided that the EVO would be the phone I want, and I read an article here and there about it, but I'm not that addicted yet! But I think I'm getting there since I hate my Blackberry Curve more and more each day, and I wouldn't miss the keyboard. I played around with my uncle's Moto Droid, and I really loved it, and really liked the Android experience and everything.However, after tonight, I should be crazy, I really can't wait to see what news we get from the EVO party tonight. =]

Oh man you guys made me feel better. I thought I was the only crazy one with this stuff. I know we all love our phones etc.. but I also go to extremes reading everything I can and watching any video even remotely related to the EVO. My friends and family think I am a bit weird but hey, that's geeks for you! ii

If you guys think this is bad...some of you will remember the Nexus One Verizon thread...when March 23rd hit the buzz was so loud no one could even concentrate! And then March 24th happened! Holy crap people were going crazy, because everyone 90% expected it to hit on the 23rd. Then it never happened. Thanks to Sprint for semi keeping us in the loop, by at least having events and announcements!

I asked a guy at the shack this past Monday and was told that it was coming out mid August. Ruined my day until I started seeing all the june 6 rumors

I believe he was:

1. Clueless
2. Didn't know what the Evo is
3. Messing with you

I talked to my local Shack peeps, and they kept referring to a certain Ethics class they took. This was right after I asked them to hit some magic buttons on there computer to get to the "here are all the answers to your release date questions" section.

Its funny. but I am the same way. Always on this forum and another one and checking everyday anything new on the Evo. I really cant wait. What sux is that i am going to have to wait til around 630 or 700 on the June 4th to get it. That day is really gonna be a long day at work.

As for you guys with wives being all over you, my gf doesnt even know because she wouldnt understand. she is one of the most untech person i have known. She even gets mad at me for texting. says its for kids. but what can i say, thats what i get for dating an older woman.

and no it does not come with the droid ring tone. I have a friend that has a droid and he sent it to me. If you would like it send me a PM with your e-mail address and I'll send it to you
