EVO LCD cable version question

The screen of my EVO got shattered so I am considering getting a replacement LCD+Digitizer sub assembly to simplify the fix.

It seems that EVO lcd has several cable variations (e.g. 'small' vs 'wide' in the link below)

How can I tell what cable version I have? Preferably without opening the phone if possible.
