So I was just listening to the podcast and Phil mentioned an anonymous tipster who said the launch date will be 6/4 and will cost $10 extra for 4G and $30 extra for hotspot capability. I'm sure the tipster seemed like a credible source (and might be), but there's no way this will happen. I think 4G will be free and hotspot will be between free and $10. Sprint cannot afford to charge people extra (esp $40 extra!) and make them think twice about getting this phone. Plus, Hesse already said at CTIA that 4G doesn't cost more, so charging more for it now would be crazy. I think the hotspot freature could be $10, but I also think it has a good chance of being free considering Verizon offers it for free on the Pre Plus. I just don't think it is consistent with Sprint's pricing model to charge extra for features. So, those are my thoughts; what do you guys think?

4G is not in enough cities to be a chargeable item.. the goal of sprint is to get as many people as fast as possible onto their 4G network...charging extra for spotty service wont do that.

hotspot is worth $10, mebbe $20.. for u/l data
but again, if Sprint wanted to be real aggressive then simply allow it for free.. and i would strongly support a hard cap of data at 5GB to prevent abuse of what should be an occasional use item...
