To make a long story short, I handed my evo over to a buddy to FLASH networks from sprint to cricket. Got the phone back and all it did was bootloop in clockworkmod recovery. Ive done my homework and checked into how to fix it, but i ran into a few problems.
One, i dont really know WHAT the guy did to the phone except:
there is no nandroid recovery
cannot recognize USB when plugged into the computer
so in my journey to fix my beloved phone, here are the steps i have taken
(the phone came back to me with cwm and s-off)
downloaded pcimg36 on sd card (since usb wont work), installed and now shows red triangle (in recovery mode) with exclamation point.

gives me the hbot menu
recovery mode shows red triangle. volume up says "cant open /cache/recovery/command"
maybe ive done everything right? and just need to know the next step? could someone guide me in the right direction? thank you!!!
