is it possible to get different launchers without rooting? i love some of the ones in these screenshots but I haven't decided on rooting yet

A lot of this stuff doesn't require rooting. A combination of a few apps will give you most of the looks you see. For example, I have my phone set up like this and I'm not rooted. Just a stock EVO.

I'm not seeing much in the shots in this thread I don't think is possible without rooting. Mostly stuff in the notification bar (different stuff that custom ROMS like CM6 will give you).

really?....no kidding....jesus thats good to know....i tryed the launcherpro, and it wasnt too bad, but after i tried that and wasnt to crazy about it, i sort of gave up lOL....thanks for the info...

I use ADW Launcher and I like it better than LauncherPro. Everything on my home screen (not as good as most of the screens here ) can be done without rooting.

I like ADW Launcher the best and it doesn't require root to use it.

The clock widget is the retro clock widget for free from the market. To install the icons, u need file organizer lite
