My wife and I have evo and it's dec. 17 10:20 am no htc updates. We live just outside Philly in Jersey... So no update here

For what it's worth my phone is a 0003 and I got the update on the 15th... but I did also just get this phone on the First of this month... so there may be something to this new users theory.

Or maybe it's just where I live because I always seem to get software updates really fast. Even on my old phones I would always seem to get updates as soon as they were released.

location, hw version, purchase date, etc. apparently has nothing to do with who gets it, it seems totally random going by the replies here. as I posted earler, Im a bit offended Ive yet to receive the update and lol Im not even that interested in what it offers

About time, just hit the update button and I am now downloading the update.

Hw version 0002 bought on day 1 and the location doesn't matter. Since another EVO in my same location got the update 2 days ago but that EVO is on Hw version 0004.

well... it does seem like there is a current pattern, newly purchased phones are beeing updated. Im curious what the theory is of why the roll out is so slow... with Froyo only taking two days for everyone.
