Well, I got mine on launch day....no exchaning anything for me! My buddy just got an Epic and he loves it. All I can say is... "bring on next years hardware!"

I still love my launch day Evo as much now as the day I bought it and wouldn't trade it for the world. I must admit I am intrigued by the Epic and it is indeed a very good phone. However I find my Evo more than adequate in suiting my needs. Congrats on getting the Epic I truly hope you enjoy it.
Same here. I was very first out the store with one here in Atlanta and the only thing I would trade mines for, is an Evo 2. Epic is nice with it's fancy screen, but thats all I personally think it have over the Evo. I'm not going to go over pros and cons, but I'll just say I love my evo.
Its WONDERFUL isn't it? Its so fast and that beautiful screen!! can you believe it?
Man, I did it on launch day and its a huge step up from the evo, trust me. The screen makes the evo look so washed out you ask yourself... if you were really planning on using that for 2 years?? The games are flawless (Angry Birds woot!! Need For Speed Shift) and overall operation is so smooth it makes the evo look like a slideshow...

The 50 buck difference, I was in my 30 days
I do miss SenseUI though... I have no idea what to fill my homescreen with because most widgets lack the elegance the htc ones had.
Seriously. I was thinking about getting the Mrs an epic. I'm glad to see a lot if fourm members liking it

The buttons at the bottom (Home, Menu, Back, Search) do not work properly. Specifically the back button. I pushed it like 4 times on my co worker's epic for it to actually do the action. This is a known issue. Google it. I don't know how long before Samsung addresses this issue but it's annoying.

What is it?
It's a fps test. If you're on a stock 2.2 then it's gonna e stuck at 30fps. But if you're on a custom ROM like me it'll be at about 55fps
I still don't see what's the hoopla about the Epic. It's a Vibrant/Captivate with a keyboard....
