Evolution to Droid

Samsung X426 on AT&T - Didn't even want this phone. I bought it to stay in touch with my girlfriend as I was moving back home.
LG VX 4XXX (forget which) - Switched to Verizon, this phone died. Couldn't write any new settings/contacts/texts without a crash.
LG Env - I was due for an upgrade
PPC/XV 6800 - my first smartphone/pocketpc. Worked great until..
HTC Touch Pro - Won this phone on a Twitter contest but it was the Sprint version. I switched as my ETF was like $50 and ended up hating this phone. Sold it and bought..
Blackberry Curve 8330 - Great for battery life e-mail and BBM but sucked in every other way.
Droid - Cancelled with Sprint (loophole to get out of ETF) and got a Droid and ported my # over to my brothers family plan so we all benefit by cheaper service.

First Sprint phone was Samsung M610, which was an awesome phone! I never had a problem with it and it's best feature was the size, it was one of the thinnest and lightest phones at the time it came out.

I loved that phone! It was the thinnest flip phone available in North America when I had it, I don't know if it still is now but closed it was about the same thickness as the droids bottom half.

Yep, it sure was thin!! It might still hold the title for one of the thinnest, at least in the Top 5 ever. In fact, I still have it. After I got the Blackberry I never sold it. It would be great for a 2nd line, but I have no use for a 2nd line and it would probably only work on Sprint.

**After that I had a couple of miscellaneous bricks.
** Friend gave me an old Samsung 1500 and we moved to Sprint, some time around 2000 or so.
** I used that phone for a couple years, then got a "ruggedized" Sanyo (don't remember the model but it was only available for a few months through RatShack) that was covered in a rubbery coating that helped it survive a rolling tumble down several flights of steps. Lost it off the roof of the car one stupid day.
** Sanyo 3100 flip phone that eventually wore out. Might have run it through the laundry in a pants pocket.
** Got a Sanyo 4920 brick that lasted a year before I dropped it and shattered the display. Used it for several months after that, just 'cause I remembered what all the buttons did.
** Sanyo 3200 flip phone picked up off eBay for 5 bucks. I clung tenaciously to that phone for the last couple of years.
** The wife finally dragged me screaming and kicking into the smartphone era 'cause she wanted something better than her intermittently flaky Treo. We jumped ship from Sprint to Verizon 'cause Sprint's family plan wouldn't let us get two smart phones and two dumb phones for the kids. Now we've got his-and-hers DroidX's and my productivity's in the toilet as I'm having too much fun loading apps, configuring home screens, rooting and hacking and so forth. It's an interesting challenge going from a dumb flipphone and a PalmTX to just the one gadget.

i cant remember all my phones but what i can remember i had a

-sch-a950 this is the best non smartphone ive ever had i had this phone for over 2 years and didnt ever need replacing. i miss this phone

-eny. loved that phone

-voyager. another good phone

-palm centro. 1st smart phone was happy with it

-blackberry storm. hated this phone sold it and went back to my voyager

-droid. best phone ever now am android for life

-droid incredible. android just keeps getting better

AT&T - RAZR - Absolutely loved it

AT&T - LG Shine - Well built but Bluetooth didn't work.

AT&T - Nokia E71x - Nice smartphone for email and light browsing. No real power.

VZW - Droid X - Wife was tired of AT&T's nickel and diming. I do miss the speed of their 3G network. Much faster than VZW's. All the coverage doesn't mean anything if it's spread so thin.

VZW - Droid - I loved my DX so much, but really wanted to try Cyanogen so I bought a Droid to pair up. Motorola is nice quality, but I want something a little less locked. I'll probably pick up the Dolt.

I am on VZW and happily rocking a Droid X. But I only sense huge problems with VZW handling hardware upgrades!!! "It was fine until... "

23 years

I will not begin to list all the phones in 23 years however here are the highlights and all have been with Verizon.

4. Droid Eris
5.. Droid 1 for almost 2 years. Its the best smart phone by far and thanks to Android Central it was one of the most talked about. This place has more information than Google.

There was a Sanyo on Sprint, a PrimeCo (now Verizon) phone and an older Nokia with Houston Cellular (now at&t) before the ones above.
