Excessive periods while using keyboard?

I have noticed everytime I reply to an email or text that I end up with a bunch of periods in between my words. These show up to others as URLs on the receiving end and are very annoying on the sending side.

Anyone else dealing with this and if so, have you found any solution?

I don't know if it's just my fat fingers actually hitting the (.) button while I'm typing or if they are automatically being added.

I came from an iPhone of 4 years to the HoX and I too notice the period always getting in the way. I don't have fat fingers but the placement isn't practical for swift typing. I installed swiftkey 3 to solve all my problems.

What keyboard are you using?
Maybe switch to swift key will help.
Maybe switch to landscape when texting will help.

I looked at SK3 in the app store and the key layout doesnt look a whole lot different...how does it help out so much?

Because it understands your language style and you end up typing much less, so that you have fewer occasions to actually press keys near the period.
