Exchange or Gmail sync - Which is better on battery?

For you who have tried both, is Gmail or Exchange more taxing on the battery?

I've used both and I really don't see a difference in the battery life at all. I had exchange set to push so it worked exactly like the Gmail app.

I think they use the same underlying technology, so i think one is no more taxing then the other. I have both going at the same time and I get great battery usage.
