Exchanged my watch this morning

After reading of so many that returned/exchanged their watch dye to issues I did the same this morning. I exchanged for a new 46mm at Best Buy. My issues were no deep sleep readings with always on heart rate and very poor battery life based on what others got and battery life seemed to be getting worse.. My step counter worked perfectly and after some long chats with Samsung, we actually got Deep Sleep registering again with heart rate always on. But battery life never improved. I had wifi and BT on and always on HR. Screen brightness on 3 and dark watch faces with little or no animations. I never got two full days. In fact 28 hours was about it. Hopefully this will square me. If I can get two full days I will be happy. I will report back. If you have good battery saving toys let me know. Oh ya, I had sleep mode on to help also.

But we won't know if the 42 was a bad watch since you went with the 46. I really can't tell how many days I get because I'm not consistent with my watch wearing or when I put it on the charger. Also I have the brightness all the way up...how do you see with it on 3? :o HR every 10 minutes, BT and Wifi on and most of my watch faces are light colored.

I had the 46 to begin with. 3 is pretty bright on mine. I have it on 4 below.

@Greymire how'd you get deep sleep tracking working?
I had to do a complete reset. I posted the steps on two other threads on here. I can do it again if you can't find how to do it. It involves the buttons. Not the reset in settings. I just hope I don't need to do it again now the watch I just got updated. I really don't fell like doing it again.. I have had to setup up the watch four times between dealing with support and now the new watch.

Fingers crossed!
So far it is much better. It's still early but if it keeps at this pace I will get three days or better off of the first charge which I never got with the other one. I had to charge the other every day to make sure I made it through the night. A day and a half was my best on the old watch.

Just a note that with the new watch I have been up over 48 hours and the phone is 54% charge. Major difference.

Good to hear things are better. I averaged 3-4 days with the 46mm.
