Extend notification timeout on lock screen

Has samsung figured this out yet? I want to be able to extend the display timeout on text messages on the lock screen.

What app are you using?

Have you checked that app's settings for display options?

I don't think you're going to find a general option to affect timeout of notifications although many UI's, like Nova Launcher, offer tweaks and extra settings that may be able to give you what you're looking for. There may also be a stand alone app for such things as well.

I use Textra but the app does not have a setting for this. It replies on the default Samsung system for this.

I believe the lockscreen timeout does not effect the duration of how long the phone will display a text message. I think I tried playing with that before.

Set a Routine to Keep Screen On with the trigger as Text Message. Good luck.
