I'd really just like a soft gel case that fits the extended battery. I keep my phone in my left front pocket, so I don't want anything too bulky. Every time I see someone with his smartphone in a holster on his belt, I automatically assume that he's an IT guy. Nothing worse than phone in a holster and a BT headset!

The leather case from verizon fits the Bionic with or without the extended battery well. Easy to clip on belt and remove with one hand action. Android Central has it on sale!!

Doesn't seem like it now. I am also looking for a case for my Bionic w/extended battery. Maybe some 3rd party case designers will make some in the future :/ I guess we will just have to wait and see.

I looked @ otterbox they dont make 1. you would figure these companies would make cases for extended bats.

I like the feel of the Vz case for the extended battery and it's pretty form-fitting, so doesn't add a lot of bulk. But it's BLACK - couldn't someone come out with a cover in COLORS for the extended? PLEEEEEZE??? When the screen's off, the whole phone is BLACK and "disappears." I've left it laying around and can't find it on occasion. It blends in too well. (Maybe that's a plus?)

ok, y'all seriously need to quit talking like this. Please repeat after me:

"The Bionic is not going to be forgotten simply because another couple of newer phones are on their way".

Say that three times. Now take a deep breath. The Bionic is still pretty new and accessory manufacturers haven't completely caught up yet. They will. They will. Patience.

For now, I am rocking the Verizon extended battery holster/cover/kickstand with my extended batt. It's not 100%, doesn't cover the top and bottom of the phone completely, but the form factor is good, it's solid, and it fits on my hip. I can hear it when it rings. Kickstand is an added plus.

accessories are developed based on volume of units being sold, as much as I love my Bionic Im not going to fool myself into thinking they will continue selling a huge number of them once these new phones with better specs and a stronger marketing push drop in a few weeks.

I really hope Im wrong, bit if I were a 3rd party manufacturer I wouldn't spend my budget developing products for a device that was only pushed for 2 months...

My extended case showed up today and it seems like it was cut properly. Exactly what I was looking for. Although a tight fit it still can be carried in the Verizon leather case they sold me when I bought the device. Looks like a decent purchase.
