Extended battery charge

Lately my phones charging rate takes a while if it drops to 30 percent n I hook it up at 12am I wake to go to work at 7am its only at 70 percent this morning I woke up 830am it was at 88 I hooked it up 11pm it was at 45 percent any ideas to y this is happening

Install something like the Battery Monitor Widget, and monitor the charge current all night.
Report back what it shows.
Are you using the original HTC charger or something else?

what software are you running? i.e. mr2 ota, rooted, if rooted, what rom and kernel.

Sounds like a kernel issue. I used some roms where charging took forever.

I had this same problem running bamf 2.0 stripped. I would wake up in the morning and its stuck at some random % charged. Ditched the rom.
