So we all know how horrible the Thunderbolt is on battery life. So I got the extended battery (the HTC on from verizon). I work a night shift 12 hours (and its a pretty slow pace) so needless to say I have allot of time to surf watch movies ect. The first 3 night I couldn't run the thing out started with a fresh charge at the beginning of the shift and with moderate to heavy use I could not run the battery out I even Bluetooth'd into the car stereo playing music the gps on running Google nav and the screen on with a 2 hour drive home I still had 34% battery left, AWESOME!!!!!!!!
Now let's jump to tonight, the battery is dying faster then the stock regular battery. There are no rouge programs running. I'm doing my normal routine and the phone went down to 40% supper fast. So I restarted it on when it came back on it went from 40 to 19% .

Sorry for being long winded but what causes this is this battery still breaking in? Is it bad? I'm not rooted so I can't clear the battery stats. Any helpful info would be appreciated

Same here, but I also noticed 4g was flickering on and off when I was at work inside. Usually never turns off like it did.

Are you in a 4g location? If so, there may have been issues, which can greatly reduce battery life. You could try using LTE OnOff (in the market) and turn off 4g and see how long your battery lasts on 3g.
