I was wondering if anyone was able to get VZW to send you the extended battery at no charge. Battery life obviously sucks but I definitely dont want to pay 50 bucks for the extended battery. I was just wondering if any one had any luck with them sending a extended replacement for free?

There have been several people able to do so including myself, there were several threads on it. Ymmv.

Good luck they told me to pound sand pretty much (well at the store anyway). . I got a Sedio 3500 and it's a bit better then the 2750 from HTC. You may have better luck then I did.

Most did it by complaining about the random reboots to a second tier manager. I've only got them down to 37USD. After the mr2 release your chances are low in getting it for free

When I got mine it had plenty of charge :D

I agree with others that the "free extended battery" days are probably over. Additionally, I just checked and they have returned the price to the full $50. For months they've had it on sale for $37. Just shows to go ya... the early bird gets the worm.

Maybe you could try telling them that the unauthorized tethering program you downloaded from the Market is eating up your standard battery? JUST KIDDING! REALLY! :D

So you dont think there is any chance of getting it for free? Ugh

It would be rather difficult, but you can try. I know I have no chance of getting a free extended battery lol. Curses for being a VZW employee... I get a zero exception tolerance for anything.

It's only $40 from Android Central or about $37 if you have a discount with Verizon. Best $37 I spent!

Yeah, I bought 4 (yes, FOUR) at that price via my My Verizon account. But when I looked yesterday they were offered to me for $50. ??? Have you checked lately?

Edit: OOOOPS! It's back to $37 today! Good. Weird. Probably just operator error.
