Extended Battery WITH Back Door! Pics and Review

I would imagine a bumper like case that protects the sides like the iPhone, that backdoor cover is too pronounced to have a full backed case. For that type of battery, the case should be the battery cover. But that's for the sellers of the battery/cover to determine. Would be nice though, I'd go for one if it did. -GeNeS

The battery just arrived today but when i took out the battery door it was cracked into three pieces. Would the seller send me a replacement backdoor? Because the battery is literally useless without a matching backdoor

My extended battery arrived on Monday. I installed it out of the box on Monday afternoon. It had roughly 78% battery life remaining. I took it down to zero, and charged it up overnight. Driving into work I stopped to get gas. Checked my e-mail, and that was it. It is now at 95%, so I am not seeing any difference in battery use just yet.

I also had a thought on the case. I have a flexible rubber case that I got off of E-bay. It couldn't have cost more than a couple of bucks. Now, this isn't the most elegant solution, but I was thinking I could remove a portion of the back of the rubber case, so that it fits nicely around the phone. I think it will work, but I need an exacto knife of something similar. I also have several screen protectors hanging around. Since they are larger than the new battery covering, I was going to cut one of the protectors so that it will cover the battery cover. That way I will limit the scratches wear/tear on that.

Again...not elegant, but I was going to give it a try. I'll post pics if this comes out ok.

after one day (15 hours) of moderate use, the battery was down to 36%. That's definitely disappointing. I was hoping to get more out of it than that. I'm starting to wonder if some of the apps that I'm running are sucking the battery life. Specifically Words with Friends, Go SMS, or Go Launcher Ex.

Update: 26 hours, down to 18%. Hopefully draining it a couple more times will improve it a bit more.

You are going to have to go down to 0% then full charge a few times before you start getting better life. Plus some apps do suck the battery.

anyone have a charger that seems to be backwards? the pins don't match up to the same side as on the battery... and if you flip the battery around, it doesn't fit in the charger.... ????

I also bought the gtmax extended battery with the external charger. The stock battery appears to fit in to the charger, but not the extended one, unless facing he opposite way. Can the extended battery not be charged in the charger it was shipped with?

Also, I've noticed on the top of the battery, on the other side of the gold contacts is a white sticker with X's going across it which will line up directly with the charger contacts. Anyone know if that has any use as far as charging it goes?

I love the idea of the "super" battery on these things, but I am clumsy and need a case to protect the phone against mayhem like me!

Question to you guys. Which kind of extended battery works better. The one that you are talking about (selling on AMZ) seems have more capacity, but one from the link below looks high too, and it doesn't add any weight to my phone. I wonder, how many more hours to add to my phone between these 2 kind of batteries. I really have no idea, but it seems both fit my Samsung Infuse 4G. Please advise, many tks!
