Has anyone heard if there is any plans to offer the extended battery in the US without having to resort to buying it from a seller in South Korea on ebay?

For those that have bought it, did you find it was worth it?

I have to charge my GN 3 time a day... definitely it should have extended battery

I've got a 2000mAh batt and charger coming (should be here sometime this coming week). The bad news? After it was shipped I double checked the listing -- charger, battery, cable -- yes. :) Battery cover that fits said 2000mAh battery? no. :(

So the other day I ordered an additional 2000mHh batt WITH cover (no charger). Oh well.... never hurts to have a spare. I can ALMOST make a day on the stock batt, so this way I can have one batt in the charger, and use the other one (and swap out first thing in the morning).

Ordered from eBay for both items, and I'll let you guys know how it goes. (But to answer OP's question, no I haven't heard anything one way or the other. But I'm in Canada so I'm assuming chances are rare that they'd sell the extended batteries here anyway. US possibly, but Canada? Very unlikely)

That's the item I ordered. In the meantime I'm hoping that when The charger+battle get here, I can use the battery (without a cover) inside my commuter case. If not I guess I'll have to wait until the 2nd order comes in. Should double checked stuff the first time... oh well, lesson learned for next time!

Are you saying that you purchased your extended battery from that eBay listing and did not receive the battery door to go with it? If that's the case, I would talk to the seller because it is listed as coming with the door.

No, the error was on my end. My first purchase Was a battery and charger. I just assumed that it came with a battery door that would fit the 2000mAh battery. If I had re-read the listing I would have noticed the smaller print. Oh well. Thus, the 2nd order... an additional 2000 mAh battery and a cover that fits. So soon I'll have 2x2000 batteries, 1 desktop charger, and 1 extended battery door.

I just hope I can use the extended battery some how even without the battery cover

Got my 2000 mAh battery today. Still fits the GSM landscape dock with the extended battery and cover installed.

Any reason you didn't order the 3500mah from this site? https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...ource=vb_ac&utm_medium=content&token=LVY9aZMm

Is it because it protrudes? I was planning on getting it.

I would prefer the Samsung extended battery because I like using OEM parts and also prefer having the original looking battery door versus replacing it with something completely different.

The stock battery is almost enough for my day, so the 200mAh should be good. I also wanted something that still looked decent. That huge wart on the back just looks nasty! PLUS for what I need it's overkill.

Agreed. For my normal use, the stock battery will get me through the day. Yesterday, I was at 41% after 16 hours and 16 minutes. Granted, the phone was in airplane mode for about 7 of those hours because I was at work and don't get a signal inside the building. I might end up getting the extended battery from the eBay posting just to have some extra juice.

the 2000 mAh battery and cover look really good. almost feel better than the stock 1750 battery and cover. makes it more an even teardrop shape from the side view. looks factory, as expected with OEM parts. NFC built in the battery just like stock, so that's a non issue.

so far seems a decent improvement. i would searching for a charger by 5-6pm (7am start), now can at least last until late evening when i'm back home and ready to plug in the charger for the night.

The looks of it won't effect me much, I always use a case. I tend to just look at the display side as well.:)

Using oem 2000mAh batt. Works well. Don't need to charge daily with my use. Doesn't look bulky at all too.
