Extended battery

Here's a link to an article previously posted on another AC forum. It will give you some basic info. plus a couple of tips on the lower part of the page. Good luck!

How to Condition Your Cell Phone Battery | eHow.com

This is not a very detailed or all that accurate bit of info but with the page plastered with ads for new phones and phone accessory vendors. I don't think they are too interested in making your battery last all that long. Here is a less profit interested and more technically accurate link:

Day 3 and I got 14hrs 17mins with a screen on time of 3hrs 20mins. Still have 4% left.
Looks like the battery just needs a little time to find its stride.

What kernel are you using?

I think my battery has been appropriately conditioned. Hit 30 hrs today with over 2 hrs screen on time.

Well worth the $25.

I picked up the 2100 last weekend, and at first it seemed about like the 1850. Tonight, I took it off the charger, used it 4.25 hours, with 2.5 hours on screen time, pretty hard use. It dropped to 17%.
Previously, the 1850 would get about 2.25 hours ost in the same time frame, while dropping to 10% or less. Not world shaking, but a slight improvement, seemingly in line with the small increase in battery capacity.
Worth $25, IMO...

Just wanted to throw this out there, I'm using the stock battery, and I live in an area with crap signal. I average 14 hours, 2.5 hours screen on using auto brightness, while on 3G all day. AOKP b39 (for right now), LeanKernel 3.9.0exp3-180, latest 4.0.4 radios (FC04/FC05). If I'm on wifi all day, I hit about 20 hours with 4 hours screen on.

I have the hyperion 3800 "mega" battery. Very impressed with the battery life. Great customer service as well. I dropped my phone and the battery back flew off. I was a little tipsy and didn't pay attention. Woke up the next day and the top 2 tabs on the battery back were broke off. I sent them an email and they sent me a new one, no questions asked. Worth every penny.

So, two questions. A) what kind of performance are you seeing? B) does it feel as clunky as it looks?

With my original battery I can get about 9-10 hours. Oem extended battery about 11-13 hours and the hyperion mega battery I am averaging about 14-20. Keep in mind this is with testing reading emails checking Facebook and playing words with friends. Everything Google wants us to do with phones. As for clunky ness, not so much. I actually like the way it feels with this battery on. Heavier and the hump gives you something to hold on to when using the phone
